He who seeks knowledge is as one who spends his day fasting and his night praying. Verily a chapter of knowledge that a man learns is better for him than for him to have as much gold as a mountain and give it all away in the way of Allah.

Islamic Studies in your home

eHawza has revolutionised how students can access and further themselves in Islamic Studies. Traditionally a student wishing to pursue higher Islamic studies would have to travel to Najaf or Qom and join an Islamic Seminary.

In this age of technology, eHawza delivers a content-rich package and offers a Diploma in Islamic Theology, all attainable through correspondence and from the comfort of your own home.

Sheikh Mansour Leghaei

eHawza lectures are delivered by Dr Sheikh Mansour Leghaei who is the Religious Director of the Imam Husain Islamic Centre located in Sydney Australia since its establishment in 1997 and is the founder of eHawza.

His extensive studies in the Islamic Seminary in Qom set a solid foundation for eHawza students to capitalise on. With over 500 lectures on a wide-range of Islamic subjects and topics, the eHawza Diploma guarantees a strong foundation in Islamic Studies and Sciences.

Diploma in Islamic Theology

This is an accredited two year full time study or three years part time. The Diploma is offered in four semesters. Although the Diploma is also designed for people with almost no knowledge about Islam, it will benefit people of all levels of understanding. Students who find any course too basic, they may apply for accreditation and move on to the next level.

The graduates of the Diploma will be accredited to work as Scripture teachers, and assistant scholars at the Islamic centres.
